I need some new tyres (205/55/16/V) - does anyone know any deals at the moment or what the best websites are to use?
I'm being quoted around £500 for a set of Michelin Primacys, currently running those and been very happy with them, I may have to go for a mid-range set as I don't have much cash at the moment, Hankook get good reviews online, any recommendations?
Thanks.

Camskill knocking them out for just under £95 so room to haggle I think!
Trouble with Camskill is you need someone nice to fit them for you once they arrive.

5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Try blackcircles, they mostly come out cheapest.
They are doing Michelin Premacy for £98 ish and Hancook and Pirelli P6000 for just over £70.
www.blackcircles.com/order/tyres/search
Edit: these are fully fitted prices0 -
Find a local back street tyre dealer (the one's the Taxi firms use)“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

If you book and pay online with Kwikfit they are doing four Michelin Primacy's for a total of £358, including valves, balancing and disposal of the old tyres.
This price is only valid if you pay online."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Also try etyres.co.uk. They do mobile fitting which I have previously used and was good
You could get a set of 4 Continental Sportcontact2's for under £400 fitted on there and loads of otehr choice from £70 upwards
Beware of going for complete unnamed budgets though0 -
The advice to try Camskills works for me - and has done for several years (I've found they work out cheaper than Blackcircles for the sizes I buy). Fitting is no problem. Almost any garage can do it and I usually pay around £10 a corner.0

The Sport contact 2 is a good tyre, as are bridgestone potenza, or a little cheaper hankook evo, toyo proxes T1S / R, falken FK452 - but not the FK912 (average at best) are all excellent. Kumho KU or KH31's arent bad either
I found the pirelli P6000 to be a very average tyre at best, though others seem to disagree with that - may be a bit car specific
Black circles are doing either the FK452 or Toyo proxes T1S at around £73-76 each so £292-£304 fitted - that's where my money would be going if things are tight.
Otherwise they show eagle F1s (which I thought were discontinued) in your size at about £83 a corner so £332. I would find these very, very hard to resist only Pirelli P zeros or track tyres (if it was a track car) are better imo, all of which will cost twice as much0 -
Quick fit are advertising on the radio at the moment, 50% off a set of 4, named brand, but cant remember which one.0

I'd just advise people not to let their poor cars anywhere near kwikfit...
I've used a bunch of different garages through black circles and never had any issues.0
