You pay for a dish, installation and receiver. After that it's free, but a top up service is available if you want Sky Sports etc.

Freeview and freesat have different channel lineups.

    Both are free services.

Freesat is from a satellite, you need a dish.
Freeview is terrestrial, you need an aerial.

You can get Freesat from Sky as well, also free.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • freesat from sky is *almost* free after installation, but ever 5 years or so you might need to shell out for a new sky viewing card to watch the channels, which are free but encrypted.
