2.5lbs off for me :j, but it was 9 days since last weigh-in and it was am, before brekkie, rather than evening so I'll be happy to maintain in 5 days time :o

Hello everyone thread seems a bit quiet this month (says she not having posted for about 3 weeks. Lots of us seem to be struggling to keep up the regime but well done to those of you posting losses.

Anyway reason I haven't posted up to now is that I weighed myself about a week in and still no change:mad:

So I did the mature thing and went off and sulked furiously for a few days muttering darkly about metabolic rates and family all fat what chance have I got? until I decided to look again at what I was eating :o

And there it was:mad: too many calories going in by a combination of laziness (packet or tinned stuff) and failing to take account of the difference between calories in a packet and when it's made up.

So made masses of veggie soup frozen into correct portions and one or two other substitutions and got a result:j

I suppose when I started this I was quite a few stone heavier and my body could use what I was putting into it and still lose weight but now I weigh less I need less fuel. Also still need to up my exercise so dusted off the running / walking machine and intend to crack on next month after I come back off my hols.

So Dragon a long winded way of saying I weighed myself today and I'm 13st 4lbs so :j:j:j at last going the right way again.

This is my final result for this month as I am off on my hols so I'll be late joining the new thread when you set it up. Keep a space for me.

Best wishes to all and I hope you are feeling better Dragon.

    Lots of love Ma

Just a quick update on the NHS Couch to 5k plan. I'm on week 5 and it's been a hard week but I've just completed my first "big run" !!! 20 straight minutes, no intervals. I've been dreading it all week so I just kept telling myself that I wasn't exhausted, I just thought I was lol. When I got the treadmill I couldn't even run for one minute! Really starting to see a change in myself now and it's fab. See you for the weigh in tomorrow :D
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

Morning all. Final weigh in puts me at 14st 2 1/2. That's a 3lb loss. Also now under 200lbs! Hopefully will be 13stone something at the first weekly weigh in for November. So mush better than 17 stone something. You guys are the best x

    Hi all,

Final weigh-in for October and its a 0.5lb loss for me. October has not been my best month, so putting that behind me and moving onto November with a bit more planning, exercise and home cooking - less eating junk, lazing about and feeling sorry for myself.

Hope you feeling better Dragon, well done to those who have lost this week / month and good luck to all in Novemeber.
