Can you not click on the 'My computer' icon, find the location of the photographs, select them, copy, then paste them in the new location.
When everything is sorted, delete from the original location. You can use cut and paste, rather than copy and paste, but if anything goes wrong .. you're up queer street.
I plug my camera in directly and it shows as the F drive, but I am sure it is something similar with a memory card, which is stuck in somewhere.

Some anti virus programmes have disabled autorun, could be that

WLM21 - Yes, tried that, it comes up at F: when I insert the memory stick, then when I double click F: it tells me there is nothing there! (Can't remember exact wording.)
Summat's gone wrong somewhere!

If you insert the memory stick then right click it, if open in a new window is an option, choose that, then see if you can open it in the new window0
