Hi there, Apologies if this is the wrong board
Im just wondering is there anyway to have an online job. I have an job at the moment, cashier at my local supermarket, which means i have to work saturdays, which i cant really do because i have alot of things to do. I work 8 hours a week for £4 an hour, and my bosses are cu*ts. I live in a smallish town, so theres not alot of part time jobs, so i should be thankful for the one ive got, BUT its the most boring thing ever.
I go to 6th form and dont get any money through EMA or anything like that, so i cant work full time, Im quite good on the computer, writing and designing stuff, is there a job like writing letters. Would also need to earn around £40 a week for around 10 hours. Or am i dreaming:D
Thanks alot

There is still money to be made in web design and it's not as difficult as you might think. For example take my new website it is based off the wordpress blogging software which you can download for free, add in the best part of a weekend to customise and edit templates that I had downloaded and the site is up and running.
If you don't want to manage clients then there is still plenty of money to be made just by running your own website. Another of my examples earns me over £150 per quarter from advertising and I spend less than an hour per month running the site! If I had more time to spend on this site then I am sure I could make even more money.0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. The reason I posted links to two of my sites is I think they are good examples of what can be achieved with my limited knowledge (I'm happy to remove the links if they are considered spamming).
I earn a reasonable sum of money across many websites and in response to the post from punk_football I was suggesting that designing their own website can be both personally and financially rewarding. For someone that is good on a computer web design should be relatively straight forward and hopefully fun too!0 -

Sorry.... I didn't quite understand the rules... hopefully i am fully compliant now and thanks for pointing that out without just shouting me down. If this post attracts the attention of any of the forum team can I suggest you put a note on the signature page in My CP highlighting the signature rule as many of us ignore the small print (lesson learnt in my case).0

Not you, the poster #2, who has since edited his post to comply with the house rules.punk_football wrote:Do you mean me spamming, ???
