... and got 1/3 (yes, ONE THIRD) off the price of the car he purchased :j
He would never have done that before (I would, have and been very successful over the years).
I think, finally, he just might be *getting* it when it comes to Money Saving.
He was kicking himself afterwards for not making his initial offer a bit lower - but, as I said to him, for a first timer, he's done extraordinarily well and that having the confidence to do it again after this successful attempt is worth far more than any other savings he would have made.
So now, he has a smaller car (or will have later in the week) lower running costs and at only 2/3's of the asking price. :beer:
