I know you can find posts you've made but ('cos I tend to do quite a few:o) I just get pages and pages of results back .... thanks!
I am not very good with instructions, but will do my best.
First I opened a second page to this thread.
On my first page I left-click on the posters name, you then get 4 options, I clicked on the third option down 'find more posts by .....'
I then just looked for posts headed 'October 2011 Grocery Challenge'.
Just below the heading, it gives you the first line of the persons post.
Click on that to bring it up and then click on the number in the top right corner to isolate that post.
Then on the second page that I have open, I go to reply and just copy and paste the address for that post.
I then just repeated the process until I reached the first post for this months challenge.
I also find it easier to find my own posts this way, just click on my own name within a post.
Sorry it is a bit long winded

and could i get a card using my business card?
We have individual membership so I dont know the rules and regs.
Some things are fab from costco but you have to know your prices as sometimes it looks like a good deal but isnt (i.e. when their velvet loo roll is on offer its much cheaper than the shops but when the supermarkets have an offer its cheaper to buy it there). My mum swears by the cat and dog food and pretty much all the meat. I only buy the chicken breasts and think they are very good.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

I knew that there had to be a quicker way to find posts, and after my long winded reply, I have just worked it out:o
At the top of the thread is the option to 'search this thread'.
Left click it and go to advanced.
Put name into 'user name' and it brings up all the posts that someone had made within this thread.
Soooo much quicker :wall:

Hi all,
Helen - I think it would be a great thing, however, it would be really time-consuming for you...
Just bought a few bits today - my halloween costume, a pumpkin for carving, some new sheets for the beds etc. Don't think I actually bought any real food, but I'll have to check the receipt, as that doesn't feel right!! I took the children as well!
Had hm pizza for dinner tonight. I've been making them for about six months now (pretty tired, he he he!!), and i'm a complete convert. I wouldn't go back to buying them for our dinners. It's so cheap and so easy! No measuring involved either, which is my absolute fave kind of cooking! Tonight's pizza was sausage and sweetcorn. Sausages because I cooked 8 yest and only used 4, and sweetcorn because that's veg lol! Well, the sauce is veg too, batch cooked from bendy veg and frozen. I made a bit too much dough, so have just finished making another one, this one is saus and mushroom. I reckon for both pizzas, given that the cheese was on offer, it was less than £1, and that included the carrots and corns to accompany them! That fed us for a main meal, a snack for me just now, and it'll be lunch for us all tom too. I'm calling that a bargain!! One thing that I think is a must is the a$da garlic ketchup to dunk the crusts in though. I also make them in rectangular baking trays, so they're easier to cut. Lovely stuff!!
In other breaking news (), we now only have 5 easter eggs left to use up.. this using up lark is taking so much longer than I thought!

Evening All
Had the day off work to take DS to the orthodontist, we were quicker than i thought so we did the food shopping for the week on the way home, nice to have someone with me :T
Icel@and - £54.00 - really filled the freezer up, so hoping this will last for 2 weeks.
240 Tetley tea bags for £3 - so they should last for 2 months.
Own brand butter 500g for £2.
DS wanted to try the double decker pizza as advertised on TV - only £3 and looks lovely - cheaper than a takeaway!
Called in to Ald! - I haven't been in for a while, spent £12.78 - got a big bag of potatoes for 69p (jacket pots on Friday) and we are trying their cola zero for 39p.
Mr T - £42.17 - used my £4 voucher.
Got a huge box of Daz for £4 and really large bottle of Lenor half price for £1.68, so that should last for months :T
I have tried the Value dishwasher tablets £1.80 for 30, will let you know if they do clean!
3 x value choc bars for 90p, I am going to make some flapjacks and cover them in choc.
Veg stock cubes - 6p for a pack of 10.
Got some great whoopsies too, I was there just at the right time.......
4 apple turnovers with cream for 50p - treat for later and work tomorrow
2 innocence curry veg pots for £1.80 - had one tonight for tea, one for Fri with my jacket pot.
GU cheesecake & GU choc pud - 82p each - nice puds for the week.
Covent Garden soups, 2 x leek and pot and 1 x tom - when I checked the receipt they were on 3 for 2 so got them all for 98p - thats 3 lunches sorted!
Am pleased with my purchases, but need to watch the spending next week
am glad to be doing the challenge, I think I will be far more observant about where the money goes!
Sorry for the long post, will update sig now, have a good evening.

🎄The most wonderful time of the year 🎄0 -
Evening All,
I hope everyone has had a good day.
Meal Plan this week has been :-
Sun - Roast chicken, mash, fennel, carrots and cabbage, yorkies and gravy
Mon - lo chicken in oven baked risotto with peas, lemon and basil
Tues - lo chicken with pasta and mushroom and goats cheese sauce
Wed - sausage caserole and rice
Thurs - woopsied chicken pie, mash and cabbage
Fri - Meatballs & spaghetti
This is the first time I have stretched a chicken to so many meals so I am really pleased. There is enough pasta left from tonight for my lunch tomorrow too which is good.
I have been balancing the books to see how much/little cash (its little) we have as we have had four appliances break on us recently - phone, iron, dyson and worst of all my hair straighteners. We had to bite the bullet and buy a phone and iron, and I have been managing for the last three months with a £15 hoover we had in the garage for cleaning the car (it's pretty rubbish especially compared to a Dyson) but the thought of no straighteners is not good. I will have to change my name for a start to The Scarecrow Scrumper
