3 mobile deal too good to be true

I am on pay as you go at the momment as i cant get contract because of my credit rating.
However i got a cold call from three on my mobile saying a contract phone £15 a month 24 months, and a free phone now, and iphone 5 when it comes out.
I told them i would not pass credit check and they said 80% of people who say that pass it.

only reason i dint sign up is becaus i never trust cold calls.

You are wise to beware such cold calls; there are regular complaints on here about people not getting what they were promised and being left with a totally different contract they can't get out of (I also know two personally who haven't been on here).

If you are interested in the deal, make them put it clearly in writing BEFOREHAND - also confirming who they actually are (another falsehood with cold callers is that they often aren't who they say they are, but using the name to get business and commission for themselves).

That deal is too good to be true, I wouldn't trust it.
£15 x 24 is £360, an iPhone 5 (assuming previous prices) will be ~£450. Even taking into account a very high bulk buy discount of £50, 3 would still be losing money even before network fees.

Ask them to send you their offer by post or by e-mail - and your will never hear anything from them.
