just booked this fantastic deal for the end of the month

go to https://www.thomsonfly.co.uk and pick the taba link on the front offers page to get the flight - £103 each!

then go to https://www.otbeach.com and pick the hotel only option and search taba egypt hotels. the first one that comes up is Sol Y Mar Sea Star Resort which has great reviews on tripadvisor and is only £86 per person all inclusive for a week - fantastic!

phoning the hotel direct to sort out transfers but i am told a taxi will be no more than a tenner:T :T :T

"Finally, for anyone who is booked to go, and has a taxi transfer arranged from Taba airport - BEWARE. Taba is a Military airport, in the desert, and wants "Civvies" out of the way as fast as possible. The nearest town is 125Kms away and there is NO taxi-rank at the airport in case your booked taxi doesn't turn up. We had to "beg" a ride from the Thomson coach at £15 per head. Another family had been told by their travel agent that the package didn't include transfers but "you can get a taxi at the airport and it will cost pence". Wrong, VERY wrong, on both counts and, in my view, professionally negligent on the part of the travel agent. So, get a coach transfer at all costs."
