Need Broadband! Please Help

I am planning on obtaining a broadband connection VERY soon. Now, i have done a little research, and have found that most people on the Sky MAX package seem to be getting the service provided, whereas those on the cheaper package have had a helluva lotta problems!

I used to have an AOL Silver connection which was good enough for me. I am happy to go back to them. Should i give Sky a Try? lol

I already have a package with Sky, im in the West Yorkshire area, it is available there. I could always say they are not providing the service promised blah blah and get out of it. I use the net for online gaming and downloads of movies/vids. Alot of people use it in my house. I have read somewhere that because they are on a different system or something than other ISP's, getting the MAC code can be a major pain aswell.

It wont affect my BT phone package...and i wont need a new phone line will i??

Any help on the topic, or a go ahead for the MAX option, would be really helpful fellow Mse'rs!

Thank You

Niot heard good thing about Sky but Nildram give me good service AND - more importantly - they are at the end of the phone and WILLINGLY answer any queries - Even tech dept is free.

    try ringing them on 0800 197 1474.

    They are part of PIPEX.

8 Meg £15.99 incliudes a good amount of free phone calls too.

You don't have to have the free calls.
