Doesn't the thread title (and company name) now contravene MSE Rules on use of swear words in forums?

unusually ive had very good service from them, i started off with the free £15 boots voucher thingy, havnt recieved it yet but have emailed boots and they are sorting it. i did my free month then forgot to cancel, so they charged me, which is acceptable lol.
my cancel date was the 8th of feb and they sent me a new dvd on the 6th so my dad rang up asked for a supervisor and dmeanded they changed my cancellation date to the 13th of feb...
which they did so everything is fine and i havent been charged...
..... yet:eek:0 -

Then how can you say you've had good service? You've had to go to Boots to sort out the Lovefilm offer?0 -
they messed my CD-wow rental £8.75 voucher up after trying them.
After 4 months (and being back with them on a "3 for the price of 1") I finally managed to get a credit on my account - but suppose that means I have to stay with them another month at least.
Anyone noticed they seem to delay sending titles out on pupose.
They say this is rare but I normally 1-2 days turnaround even with 70+ in my queue.
I'll be going back to Blockbuster shortly... the were brilliant (hope they still are!)PLAY GOOD!
trolls and abusers will simply be added to my ignore list - you can do it too! its under USER CP

Well i was with lovefilm for 5 months, 3 months as a paying customer, and to be honest i couldnt really moan about them.
Yes you dont get your 1st choices of dvds arriving that often.
sometimes your waiting a few days for your selection to be allocated.
occasionally dvds go missing in the post - i only had 1 go astray in 5 months, so not that bad.
Customer services are not that prompt, I get a reply about 3 days later whenever i contacted them.
if you leave it to the very last minute to cancel, you risk paying another months charges.
About a week before you want to cancel, remove all your films from your rental list, post back any you got at home, couple of days later once they returned and booked in, click the cancel account (after 10pm you can cancel entirely online).
This company is trying to tempt customers by offering a free trial, i`m sure within a couple of weeks of use you have decided if its convient/economical to be a member. If your just trying to milk the freebie for as many days as you can, it hardly lovefilms fault if your dvds dont arrive back there by the cut off point.
For 12.99 you can easily view 8+ dvds a month, if you was to rent them out at your local blockbuster it would cost you in the £30s
so its not that good, but its cheap and they are delivered to your door.....0 -

I would suggest reading here first before you join.....

Am surprised to see that Lovefilm seem to have a few fans on this thread
Dont be fooled by the [expensive]free trials, just read the reviews! For every person that has had a positive experience there are at least a dozen who havn't. 0 -
I used one of their other sister companies a few years ago so the code doesn't work for me.
I have read on the forum before that there is a way around this. Anybody know how to achieve this?
Thanks0
