1&1 email, anyone having problems!?

I've been using 1&1 for my emails in conjunction with Outlook Express now for nearly a year without a single problem. However, today, my emails won't download I just get a message saying "Your folder was not polled for its unread count."

I've tried logging onto webmail through the 1&1 website but the page just times out. In my limited experience with this kind of this it sounds like a problem with the 1&1 servers, can anyone confirm? Or point me in the direction of how to fix it!!

Yes, been having problems all afternoon. Just phoned customer support and there is a message saying that it will be sorted shortly.

I have managed to receive all my e-mails they are just very slow to respond.

it must be all my incoming spam slower down the server.

I rung them and they said a few of the servers were down,.

Mine seems to be fine now, I've just received an email that someone replied @ 3.55pm!

Rang about an hour ago, still recorded message. I've not had any mail for about 3 days - I know three were sent this afternoon. It's very slow then eventually says no mail on the server.

My mails just hit and miss. Had a few today but they stopped about 6pm. Will give 1&1 a chance seeing as its the first hint of a problem I've had in 12 months but they better sort it soon!

It seems to be up and running now. I sent them an e-mail last night asking for an update as I wasn't prepared to hang on an 0870 all night.

I gave them a Yahoo address to respond to - now just guess which address they sent the e-mail to saying that their e-mail wasn't working -- DOH !!!!
