I am angry that the main stream media is either not reporting or misreporting the protest in the US #occupywallstreet. You can only watch from live stream and they keep arresting the media team. Why should I pay my TV licence when they do not report the news effectively?
Then they will want my support when the government cuts their funding. No chance.

It is too obvious that it is not happening in the UK possibly?0

What happens in the US does have a knock on effect to us.0

I'm not sure I understand your point - how is anyone supposed to report on it if the media team are being arrested? That's hardly the BBC's fault.
From what I understand of the protest, there's precious little coverage of it in the US either, on the grounds that the protesters aren't really conveying a coherent message on what they want, haven't captured the interest of the mainstream media even in their own country and don't have any spokespeople who are able to give a clear account of their goals. Perhaps that explains the lack of international interest.0 -

Not a clue what all this means, sorry.

What about all the protests in Europe then? Not much on the media about those either. Maybe what happens outside the UK isn't of much interest to anyone?
(I was being ironic in case you wondered

I can't see how misreporting in the media is an excuse not to pay the TV licence. If whatever strange event this post is about is misreported in the same way on Sky, CCN, ITV etc, then you can hardly blame the BBC."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Methinks that mayhaps you're confuzzled in regards to the requirements for a TV license0 -

Nope. Not in the least. A licence is technically only required for BBC programmes. Proving that you only watch commercial telly is a different matter though...
