Me pet 'orse doesn't live in the garden and he doesn't live in my home either. He's a family pet so I vote 'Family'.

My [STRIKE]pet [/STRIKE]children do live in my home and they use the garden, however they are family also

Family, definitely, my DW sometimes calls our 2 dogs with the family surname!!!

I also know a few dog owners who have given up parts of thier homes (if not all of them )to their dogs, so definitely family.

Family definately, a pet is a part of the family

and a garden is part of the home and doing your own gardening is DIY therefore the gardening board should be a sub forum of the home and DIY.
Also the family live in the home or their own home so that shoulb be a sub forum of Home and DIY as well.
