My Husband,had to give up his job..he was self employed minicab driver...he is 65yrs.the reason he cannot carry on with this job is because it is costing too much money...Pays £140 a week to minicab office..£50 on diesal a week,£200 a month for insurance...then repairs on car..which can be ££££...Now the time has come…

Has he not thought about going as an independant driver or private hire? rather then attached to a cab company may have to increase his hour's while he built up his own clients but he longterm would more than likely make as much or more then he is now but without the radio fee
