i was in the bury store this afternoon(food shopping)i was shocked to find 2 women filling there trolleys and loudly saying 'well we can swap what we dont want or sell on ebay'and on looking they had enough for at least 5 kids while another lady asked where they got what i think was a doll(they had afew)from there reply was theres non left

    sorry but thats just greed!!!!

Agreed! That is greed! I was just thinking along lines of the average MSEer who is probably more likely doing what I did but unfortunately not all are doing that which is a pity x

im sorry but i have to agree ..... i have messaged tons of people about buying the thomas items but no one responds.. or says they only want to swap not sell at regular price + postage. i dont think its bad where someone has specifically asked for something and a MSE gets it to swap/help out but there are people buying loadddddds in the HOPE someone wants it :(

  • Unfortunately there are always a few that use mse for profit and greed and take more than the lions share, seen it at my local tesco but to be honest you won't change some people no matter what you say, and it's generally the people who are lacking 'riches' in other areas of life that focus on taking all they can. I only bought one of each item I wanted for my daughter (only a few items to be found) and a couple of presents for neices and nephews, and to be honest I would happily swap an item I had for an item I really wanted but couldn't get because of the people who decided to buy everything to ebay. I think most people who use mse are decent people with manners and morals.
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

Yes I am one that has brought items I didn't need just in order to swap

    BUT

I have passed these on at cost without profit

    Why you ask

As it's kids xmas presents, I saw toys others were asking for as they couldnt find and I had them at stores near me, so why not help other's. I will ALWAYS help others out when ever I can. I wouldn't like to know I could of 'got' a kid a present there parent wanted them to have for xmas and just walk away.

I have been lucky to have other's swap/sell me items I couldn't find for my LO and I know xmas morning I will smile and know someone else helped me to get them for him.

I have around 20 different packages to send out, knowing I'm helping out other's will make all the packaging ect worth it......why not help others where you can.
