ive been really lucky thanks to people buying extras. i had been stuck at home all week unable to get to any stores but thankfully some lovely people on here had bought items and were happy to sell them to me at the bargain prices they paid, plus postage.

someone sent me mega bloks sodor airport, hm armed forces outfit at cost. im waiting for a hm armed forces doll which someone is posting and someone has even given me a bed guard for nothing!!! she said call it an early xmas present, i just had to pay postage!

Same here, 4 generous MSE'rs have helped me out massively. I have a full set of JLS dolls at cost price plus postage, and 1 of those 4 has even sent me the barbie school for FREE (I paid postage) I offered to pay but she said she get it for free on DTD, so didnt want anything for it.

(I have changed my signature in honour of these people)

I have nothing for swaps, as nothing in any of my stores, but the few people I have messaged about buying items want a ridiculous price for them, ie items they paid £2 for they are wanting almost RRP plus postage. So I gave up PMing people days ago.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

Yes, the ones in black box are £14.97, but the Aston doll doesn't scan.

It is the white box ones that are going through at £1.50
Thanks it was Aston i tried. I hate my local store they never have anything :(

Really would have loved the dolls for my niece's birthday next month :(

Just noticed a few posts about the JLS dolls. I picked up Ortise and Marvin today (not in the way that might sound-not my type and faaaar too young haha!) and would be happy to pass them on if anyone would like them. Maybe a swap? PM me and we'll sort something out!

  • Anyone in Northern Ireland still looking for the graffiti scooter? I have one that I bought for a friend, but she also got one on the same day!

I'd like to swap for items for a 5 year old girl or a 2 year old boy.

    Please PM if interested.
  • Hiya which Gloucester stores have you been too?

I've been to Quedgeley and the cattle market but both have very few toys on the shelves at all

I got a few bits from Quedgeley, moon dough, moon sand and a hair dryer.

Have you tried brockworth tesco, i got a few bits from that store.

Im desperatly looking for a moshi monsters gift set.
  • I think it was a bargain but someone may tell me otherwise - Little People Car Wash set had a half price sticker saying £20.00 on it (it was on the top shelf) and when I got it down the box seemed a little worse for wear and the contents a little dusty so I tried to price it at the price checker (silly me it was disconnected) so took it to the tills - lo and behold it went through at £5.00 so came home with me for my youngest. If I dont give it to him my friends son can have it for Christmas.

I also managed to get two of the Disney Cars electric toothbrushes that are on another thread reduced from £35.00 to £10.00 each.
where was this? I think I sa one yesterday...but it as probably from my local store!!! LOL
