  • HI All Morning!

i am just home form tesco Sil!erb*rn Gla!g&w.
as i was wandering through toy section i seen a lady putting out more toys! one of which was 2 boxes of the barbie convertble ALL with the half price stickers on (SEL still £25.00). however she noticed the stickers and ran of to customer services with one box. i grabbed 1 box of the shelf which still had sticker on and walked away.
5 mins later i returned to find all stickers removeed. i was well chuffed at my find and getting my first DTD.

 But after i went throguh self scan and paid £25 for convertible i continued to customer services and explained that i just bought this but it charged me £25 and has a half price sticker on for £12.50. she said that fine and proceeded to hand me £12.50 back.
i said to her is it not DTD and she said NO because i paid for it at self scan and therefore should have noticed the mistake and i would only get it if ihad gone to a normal checkout!!!!!!!!:(

Can i ask is she right? if not is there anything i could do. i didnt argue with her as i was in a hurry and prob not brave enough lol.

please give me advice guys am gutted! my first DTD and it never worked :(

I emailed customer services regarding the above which i experianced last week and they have said that i SHOULD have recieved double the difference going through the self service checkout as it is still valid.

They are sending me a £12.50 card to apologise :T

I think some people are buying for their own kids/family/friends kids but there are other things that people have got that their kids might like even more so that's when they like to swap? I bought a Disney doll with the full intention of giving it to my LO but I know that she would love the Barbie car even more so have done a swap. I didn't buy extra with the intention of swapping but if the opportunity presents itself then why not? :)
