  • Hi there,

    First ever post :)
Winchester store had stacks of bargains today. There were three members of staff rolling out cage after cage of toys, scanning them and putting them on the shelves! In case you go in, they're not on the toy aisle, they're on end of season opposite loo roll!!

    I got
Thomas megablocks set for £3 - started at 30, went to 15 - then down to 3!!
Thomas electic guitar for 30p - still on website for 19.99
Lightening Mcqueen Booster seat for £5,
    Peppa Pig Playset for £3,
Fireman Sam Scooter £3 - on website for 30
    Transformers for 40p
    Hello Kitty roller skates 1.30
    Bratz dolls 1.50
Thomas at the farm train set 3.00 - started at 40 on website and now showing at 20

There was loads and loads more, but I resisted like Chugginton train set 3.00, stacks of zhu zhu stuff for about 60p each, Dr Who figures 90p, remote control daleks 1.50, peppa pig wheelbarrow £1 - thats about all I can remember!!
there were loads of stocking filllers like puppy/pony/jungle in my pocket - ranging from 40p -60p for packs of 3

I tried Salisbury store too, as I really wanted some lightsabres for xmas presents for my nephews, but nothing there was reduced.

Hope this helps someone find some bargains - they were still bringing cages out at Winchester when I left :)

  • :T Were there any vaxs left at the Fort?

Unfortunately not! I got one, as did my Mum and a friend I bumped into, then other people asked about them ... so they were all gone I'm afraid.

but that we are powerful beyond measure". :o

  • Dragged my OH in with again this evening.

Found a lone set of sand shape things (crab, seahorse etc) for 10p. And a whole bunch of stuff on clip strips (SEL showing higher prices):

    Light up YoYos - 20p
Disney Princess/ Toy Story / Disney Cars Bubble Lanyards - 20p
Littlest Pet Shop dog and steak - 50p
Mickey Mouse / Tinkerbell / Buzz Lightyear Parachute Toys - 20p
Packs of Water Balloons - 20p
Mini Hot Wheels 50 piece puzzle - 39p

This was on top of the Boules set for 40p that I got earlier; but I haven't had any luck with any electrical items or other toys.
