so for a 2 week honey moon - 12 days in thailand and 2 days in shanghi/beijing.
who flies in between thailand and china?
where is the best place to go in thailand?
dont know the area at all?
where is the best place to go for a honeymoon! we want some decent shopping mixed with a good beach
    major - beach
    minor - shopping

or 3/4 of 2 weeks on the beach, 1/4 of 2 week in the shops.

As per my post above - Air China or Thai. But can I make a recommendation? Not worth going for 2 days in either Beijing or Shanghai. Save that for another holiday when you don't want the beach. It'll cost you quite a lot extra, and there's more hassle, you need a visa, flights are more expensive.

Do 2 days Bangkok, 10 days Koh Samui, 2 days Hong Kong (Bangkok Airways fly Samui - Hong Kong direct) and back to the UK. A simple, easy trip, many flight options (BA, Qantas, Emirates, Gulf etc etc) so cheap, and ticks all your boxes. I know Hong Kong isn't Beijing - but it's a lot more fun.

A good tailor made specialist coould put the above trip together for you for around £1,000 - £1,200 pp depending on time of year, staying 4* hotels.

Just a thought - why would you want to go all the way to China, one of the most fascinating countries on earth - to lie on a beach ?
Surely that's what Spain is for ?

Try Trailfinders. Or Travelbag. Wouldn't bother doing it yourself unless you have a few hours to waste (won't be cheaper).
