Daily Mail Subscription Rise

Since March I signed up to Daily Mail Subscription at £10.40 per month.
The last 2 months they have been taking £16.41.
When I contacted them:
Didn’t you get the letter – NO
We were giving you 50% off, but were making no money, so now we are giving you 25% off. Aren’t you happy with a 25% discount – NO
I would suggest that you have not sent me a letter or why would I be ringing up.

I hope they'll be printing 25% more small-minded fascism and cancer scares to compensate?0

The problem is 25% of 0% is well still 0%.moonrakerz wrote: »25% more accuracy on everything would be a step in the right direction..............

An annual subscription to the I is only £45. Each issue has more truths than the annual output of the Daily Mail.0

How ironic that the newspaper which complains (read "froths at the mouth") about the government taking more money than it should through taxation, about constant "stealth taxes" and of corporates pulling scams on decent honest hardworking people is, er... upping its prices unilaterally.
But then the Mail have never been ones for moral consistency.urs sinserly,

Just another example of honesty and integrity of the press.
I certainly did not receive a letter telling me of the increase. Also the first time they took the £16.41 it was around 2 weeks late so I presumed they were realigning the payment date.
I'm surprised others have not reported this but I gather the Mail have had plenty of complaints.
