Please don't just put them in the trash can - report them to the websites of the spoofed banks so they can take action to shut down those sites.
You do need to forward them, so they can get all the senders data.

THIS IS A SCAM, PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK ON THE EMAIL.
I knew this straight away as i don't even bank with Barclay's, but some people may be fooled.
the link on the email is
http://ibank.barclays.co.uk/olb/confirm/ConfirmMember.do
They may use other links though.
I'd attach the email, but i'm not allowed to access photobucket or anything from work.

The weird thing about that barclays one is that it is a genuine barclays subdomain. I'm not sure how the scammers would be trying to get details etc. The most common is switching the domain and the subdomain around. its so common with paypal scams, since paypal actively advise people to check the URL bar. But instead of something like secure.paypal.com they see paypal.secure.com and presume its on the paypal site when infact it would be in the secure.com site (not suggesting secure.com is domain used for scams, i've never looked there).~Diminutive0
