Coconut milk

Hi, does anyone know of the best place to buy coconut milk? I've seen it vary from 83p (asda) to 1.89 (morrisons). Am I likely to find it cheaper than 80p a can?

Thanks

We tend to buy CC at Costco. we can usually get a six pack cheaper than we can get elsewhere.

We also have a recently opened Asian store called Polypack where it has been around 69p.

There are several of these stores in our area and it looks like it may be a franchise as they all seem to be run slightly differently.
  • Thanks, in the asian shops/markets i've been to they vary from 89-1.29. I may try lidl/aldi. thanks for all your help.

coconut milk powder (not coconut powder) usually works out cheaper than buying it by the can & there's no waste as you only use what you need at any one time

some supermarkets stock it & you'll find it in Asian & Chinese grocers
  • i last brought this from poundworld, was 2 tins for £1
  • I ofen buy the blocks that you add hot water to. This can work out cheaper, but does not seem as nice as the tins. But it does the job!
