I get the cans when their on offer but buy blocks from Morrisons as well.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I buy creamed coconut from Asda 4 sachets 64p. Plus I have seen it in Morrisons but not sure how much it is.0

B & M bargains have it sometimes,I last bought mine for 59p there a couple of months ago.
But I also use Maggi coconut powder from a Chinese Supermarket which you make up with water.

Didnt think about pound shop and pound stretcher for coconut milk. Forgot about the sachets and the block of coconut that you grate or whatever you do.0

it works out at the equivalent £1.19 for 400ml (standard can size) handy for those with no Poundstretcher etc nearby, & there's no trip to the shop & carrrying
must confess though I've never bought a can since I discovered coconut milk powder0 -
To Swan and others - is the powder as good as the cans? I mean, the cans themselves vary enormously in how thick and how creamy etc etc. Some don't taste of much, some are lovely. But is the powder as good as a good can, if you see what I mean?0
