            My daughter has just logged into her Halifax account ok. No problems at all.
 I could login too.
 However it is showing up as a Phish alert - perhaps only on my Virus programme - but I'd rather not take the chance. It may be down to the change of URL but still shouldn't be showing this.0

 You are right, i will tell her not to do any online banking or even login until it's ok again. It really isn't worth taking the chance.0

            your virus scanner may be picking up that a site you visit on a regular basis seems to have changed, some of them are a bit too sensitive.
 online banking has been problematic with minor issues since the change but its coming along now0

 Just checked and the PHISH/Halifax.G was only added to the Avira databse today and mine updated at 6pm so that explains this new alert. However I'm still intrigued why.0

            I've just logged in and i'm not getting an errors/virus warnings.
 I'm using Norton Internet Security and it was updated just beofre i logged in.0

            Also noted that an account upgrade (easy saver to fixed term deposit) still shows as the old account type, even though I have a hard copy statement showing the new account type.Ethical moneysaver0
