HP currently have 2 deals on one being the cashback offer at
http://www.hpcashback.com/
For example £100 cashback when you buy an HP 620
Then you can do the trade in with most old desktops or laptops as long as they work
http://www.tradeuptohp.com/business/tradeup-100/
Send in anything from the manufacturers on the list and you get up to £100 cashback age irrelevant as long as it works.
Have had it confirmed from a large HP reseller that you can make both claims on one purchase meaning you could get one of the HP620's for £197 + VAT which is excellent.
Works for consumers as well even tho says business.
Example:
HP 620 XX991EA
http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/HP_620_Business_Laptop_XX991EA/version.asp
Screen size - 15.6 in
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 - 2.2 GHz
RAM - 4 GB
Hard Drive - 500 GB
Operating System - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
Optical Drive - DVD Rewriter (Dual Layer)
Graphics - GMA 4500MHD
Webcam - Integrated
Warranty - 1 year warranty
£404.98 price you initially pay
Subtract
£100 Cashback
£100 trade in
Overall price paid for above spec £204.98 (plus delivery if not free wherever you buy) Great spec laptop for £200, you can also buy the 3 year warranty with accidental damage.
Posted on HUKD but it's sitting at -2 at the moment so thought it might get a better reception over here :rotfl:

Can't believe no ones been interested in this I thought it was an amazing deal makes some truly great laptops half price, HUKD isn't interested either yet a laptop for £369 which doesn't qualify goes over 200C
Baffled!!0 -
i thought this deal finished back in March? can you still get it?
My current HP laptop is 2 years old... battery is knackered and the fans aren't great, so I'm thinking I may look at buying another cheap laptop rather than pay to get it fixed. Hopefully my laptop would be eligible for a trade-in0 -

I just followed the link above and it says that the offer of cashback closes at the end of September.0 -
says business trade in??? Does that mean that only a company is eligible for cash trade in of £100???If ive helped in any way please feel free to hit the "thanks" button!
It only takes a second and means so much:beer:

Where does it show the accidental damage warranty option?0

It's not just for businesses it's a lure for businesses but consumers will qualify. It started in March ends 31st October!!
Accidental damage warranty is nothing to do with the above websites that's down to who you buy it from. The websites above aren't where you buy the computer, warranties are optional extras from the reseller/retailer0 -
Rich, I think this is an incredible deal if the cashback and trade-in can be combined - were you able to actually do both? Have you got the cheques in your hand yet?0
-
Both deals have been accepted, I got a guarantee in writing from a reseller who I have a relationship with that both claims would be fine as they checked with their HP sales manager before ordering. As long as your trade in is honest it will work0

I'm sure you can get an i3 for the same price, look for the 4530s but not from ebuyer.
EDIT: Maybe this, then get the £150 trade in: http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/HP_ProBook_4530s_1099520.html0
