keeping number and changing contracts same network???

hello all.

I've got two contracts with T-Mobile...

• one is a 12month only sim
• other is a two year contract

My 12 month is almost up and wish to cancel, I contacted T-Mobile and they said they could not transfer my number across to my other contract... (I think its stupid) so I'm trying to find away to keep my number and use this for my 2 year contract.

I've got a pac code from them (but doesn't look right)
got some free Orange p&g sim cards so was going to transfer my number over to them then cancel that, ask for a pac code and transfer back over to my new 2 year one with T-Mobile.

is there a easy way to do this??

I'm having trouble sorting it out and let alone trying to find freephone numbers service providers!

any advice?
