Because of what you said.So ex-boyfriends, old collegues can see what I'm [STRIKE]I'd be[/STRIKE] doing and saying to others?
Maybe the post would have been better worded like that then.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Also, just because a service is free, does that mean we have no right to complain about it! Me thinks not!0

Thank you for taking the time to correct my post though. MSE is full of helpful people.
Maybe the correct way should have been

I'm not trying to be funny.
You said you didn't have it, then posted again and it's what you said in that post which sounded like you do have it. (ETA : I meant FACEBOOK, as a whole, not the changes).
I was just asking a question too.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Say for example you post on one of your friends walls, or comment on one of their pics, and that person isn't a friend of mine, because I'm a friend of yours, I'm notified on the right hand side and can see that comment.
It's stupid, because I'd obviously have no interest in what you're saying to your other friends because I don't know them.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

I think that they meant they don't have the newer features yet as apparently facebook are rolling them out in stages.carpe diem

Right!
I'm with it now lol
I thought they meant they didn't have facebook at all, not that theirs hadn't been updated.
Doh!
Mine only updated because I refreshed the page, wondering what all the fuss was about. Wish I hadn't now!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
They saw Google+'s great security features and tried to copy them basically as most people knows that FB doesnt have very tight controls on that.0

From what i caught on the news at god knows what hr this morning, facebook are setting it up like a life diary, with pics & events from birth.
From advertisers points of view, and therefore facebooks also, this is PURE GOLD. eg. if someone mentioned that they liked horses, or did horseriding or has a pic of them on a horse, or infact their friend has one (cue face recognition) when they were growing up, ding dong, that grown up now has a job, we know that cos they told us where they work, so we also know how much they earn... we know if their in a relationship and if they live at home or flat etc. therefore we know their disposable income, so i know, lets subconciously bombard them with ads for horse riding lessons.
The face recognition thing is also a bit worrying, say google have it and cross it with street maps/public webcams(you know the ones that people set up to point at something outside), google becomes the biggest stalker in the world.
ps. although im very sceptical of facebook, i do admire the shear world wide domination of it.0
