Anyone who lends to you will charge a fortune in interest & that will get you even deeper in trouble.
its my past that was in trouble....... we both can afford this loan, but due to the 6 year on file, i have a bad history... we pay the cc each month already. sometimes 500 a month...........paying it back isnt a worry its getting it that is......as the money is needed as a lump sum etc, i dunno what to do......as with my credit file being bad yet my husbands excelleant we having trouble...0 -

But if you owe £4.5K on the card you are obviously still spending on it.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -

We are looking at the whole picture from our experience. You are just focused on getting a loan.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
There is a simple answer - There are NO semi decent Bad Credit Loan companies left.
The likes of Welcome used to do this but so many people didn't bother repaying their loans they collapsed as a business.
There is nothing to fill the void apart from Guarantor Loans (FLM) who will crucify you with high interest and destroy the relationship you have with whomever you convince to guarantor for you.
Posters aren't trying to be short with you, just trying to get the full picture to give accurate advice, it took until page two to get one of the first questions posed answered (everyone is trying to help!).
You're making us curious about what the money is for now0 -

i understand that people are trying to help, however i been told around 5 times my history will effect my clean husbands, i feel bad enough about that already!!!!... however folks do need money at times that can indeed when situation changes can pay it back, my bad debt history was from when i lost my job a few years ago and since then anything i owed ive been paying sadly its the 6 year rule..tht it be on my file regardless... i rang moneysupermarket and they said my husband should do a seperate one, which i told them already what been advised in here... there are a few on that site like yes..... but i dunno whta they are like0 -
I don't think anyone on here would be happy to recommend a loan company who lend to people with a poor credit history as the APR's tend to be around 60%. You can do a search yourself on google (just type in "bad credit loans") or try moneysupermarket and select the poor credit option.0

I will echo what others have said - if you can't get a loan through a "good" company then it's not worth it going with someone who has huge interest rates as you'll end up in an even worse situation than you are now.
As CHR15 says there are no good bad credit companies left.
How long have you got until the "bad stuff" drops off your credit file?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Be VERY careful, almost ALL lenders you will encounter are brokers. They will absolutely guarantee and promise you the loan is ready. They will even give you the APR and repayment figures... but all they really want is your bank details so they can take a fee.
They will then ignore you, there will be no loan.
If your own bank will not accept you, things will be very difficult (and very expensive), that's why nobody is giving you company details. None of us want to play a part in you getting ripped off.
Whoever you get tempted to go with, whoever rings you, there is no requirement for an instant decision, no matter how they word it. come back on here and post the company name first so we can have a good look at them first.
Never EVER give out your bank details to anyone.0
