Even if your husband applies eleswhere the same situation applies. You are financially linked & your bad credit file will be taken into account,

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    No.

If the mortgage is in joint names they see your name even if he applies on his own.

Doesn't matter who you apply to. Your record is damaging his credit.

    where we can apply
Not sure. But if the rate is higher than the credit card rate it may not be worth doing.

the money is needed for a very personal reason...... we would pay the card of also if need be..... just unsure of where to go for one... everyone seems to be sticking to the fact i have a bad raiting.... i know that and tbh i assumed thats what these forums were for, my rating isnt my husbands and we both know mine will effect his.... however we also know there are leanders who will loan the cash just not sure of who......... the loan would be over a max of 3 years, not a large time scale.......... can anyone advice?

hi thanks for the reply, maybe i didnt explain right, the cash with drawl was for 200 pounds............ 4k is the balance, and limit of card is 6,500........ 200 pounds done in two withdrawls of 100 each.. part of the loan would pay the c/card balance in full also.

It would appear that you have enough leaway on the CC to get the money you need. This may well be cheaper than going to one of the lenders who specialize in poor credit to take out a loan for the money you say is for an important purpose and you would also use to clear your CC. I know it's not ideal but it might solve any immediate problems you have.

Anyone who lends to you will charge a fortune in interest & that will get you even deeper in trouble.
