    Just for the record - it's not automatically your local store that your groceries are picked from. Mine's a fair bit away from the house.

    Online grocery orders go to the nearest store with a home shopping department and is picked from ther shelves and sent on for delivery.

    i was told by member of asda staff that to order online to get the cheaper price and then the order would be passed to store and then i would be contacted to collect it.

    Ive seen me order from Tesco Direct and within an hour of ordering informed to collect instore.
