Exactly, and for my relationship.
Well I'm just back from LID*. It certainly is a different way to shop. Didn't take my own bags so it cost a few pennies more than it should. Whole bill came to 20.88 and it definitely will feed me lunches for this week, and probably into nextDecember 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Thanks! Don't congratulate me just yet though. The revised DFD is based on me making more repayments off my debt, to do which I need the job. That feels like quite a daunting obstacle for me. I've been cooking all night so haven't had a chance yet, perhaps tomorrow I'll get a chance to do a covering letter for my 'barwork' CV and then can pound the pavement after work.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

On track for an NSD today! Woohoo. Never had one (that I remember) before!
Tummy is full from one of my batch cooked meals and I have food in at home too so there shouldn't be any need to spend
Haven't heard anything about the 300 Euros for the lost keys yet. Dreading that email. I think I'm going to have to take it out of my holiday/Christmas budget because the only other option is credit and I won't go there again, plus it did happen on holiday so it kina makes sense. It just means I might struggle to make enough money in time to go to Aus next year when I need to.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

A long time ago I read the article on this site about reclaiming PPI. In the course of my racking up debt I took out many personal loans. I'd then run up credit cards and consolidate the lot into another, larger loan, and repeated this process six times.
I hunted down all the information I could find about these loans and detailed them in a letter to my bank. It was a long shot. I didn't think I'd get any money back. If I did, I thought they'd give me something in the region of £250.
I got home today after buying the cheapest bottle of bleach I could find (my bathroom is a state thanks to my flatmate dying her hair last night - so much for the NSD!) to a letter from the bank. I knew almost instantly what it was. I was resigned to the fact it'd be a "whistle for it" letter.
Long story short, they have offered me £7,062.96!!!!!!!!!!!!! This effectively renders me debt free!!!
I'm over the moon. I actually yelped. I just cant believe that next time I get paid, all the money will be mine.
I am mindful of the fact that this is a short cut to my DFD, however my journey to this point has been anything but short. If I believed in a higher power I'd say this has come to me now because I have finally learned my lesson. My immediate thought was not "What will I treat myself to?", but instead... "I'll be able to put heaps of money in my savings next pay!"
Thank you all for your support during the brief time since my second LBM. I will not just disappear I promise. I am addicted to this board now!December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]
