Hoorah NSD here today, but unfortunately came home to the boiler not working. DH is trying to work out if its something minor or not, fed up now as a warning light came on the car yesterday so that needs to go to the garage.

Well another NSD for me today. That's two days in a row now. Am really pleased with myself, am trying so hard this week. Tomorrow is a study day at work, so am hoping no one suggests pub lunches, will be avoiding it like the plague! Today I took some sandwiches and apricots to work for lunch, sandwiches were not very nice, and was tempted to buy other food, but didn't. Have made some baked potatoes for dinner with bacon sandwiches for work tomorrow, so hopefully no money spending tomorrow!

    Fingers crossed.

  • evening all Coucou24.gif today i spent 45p on three hot chocolates while in work... naughty really but never mind... i did however have a big shock when i got home and recived a cheque from the tax man giving me £239.05 back :T but my mum has eyed it :( and she wants it so she can pay a family friend back... because when i left college my mum brought me a laptop as a 'congratulations present' but she (unknown to me) borrowed half the money £250.00 :o the friend wants it back by febuary the 1st... so mum wants this cheque for it because i sold the lappy to get out of debt after i brought this pc... it has the wrong inital on it anyways so it will have to go back to be reprinted but thats just burst my balloon :o so it looks like i wont see any of it :( i dont mind though as i didnt expect it back anyway :)

I spent £7.50 on my travel to work for the week(budgeted for), £1.92 on two bottles of ribena, 66p on a muffin, 50p on a sausage roll, 37p on crisps, and £1.80 on Grazia(bt this was out of my treat money)

    Total £12.75

but only £3.45 was unbudgeted for so not to bad but would have been better if I had been bothered to make my lunch and take it with me to work, Must try better!!

I spent £2.99 on lunch and £2.70 on a load of fruit from Tesco's. Will work out cheaper than buying an item every day from the sandwich shop. Need to get back into shape - don't like being 12st! :(

Oh...also put another £32 of petrol in the car.
