Good morning lovely DFWs
Where did the weekend go?
I was cleaning and polishing one minute and I am back at work the next - or so it seems!
Anyway, planning a non spender today although that's in danger as I am not in the mood for soup which is what I have today for lunch. Will see how it goes
Have a great day and keep it low!

Good morning Moozie and all other DFWs.
Moozie - your post sums up my feelings exactly. Had a very productive DFW weekend but ran out of time before needing to be back at work. But not working for a living wouldn't exactly bring my DFD forward would it?
Planning a NSD today - brought lunch and will be so busy that will have to eat at desk.
Hope everyone has a good start to the week.0 -
After the chocolate spending yesterday, today has to be a NSD for me!!
I do need tissues and medicines because we all have the lurgy but these will be coming out of our grocery budget so no problem there.

I need to send a parcel off today (birthday pressie, not an ebay one unfortunately), but apart from that it should be a no spend day. cycled here, will cycle home and have a tuna sandwich for lunch

Morning all! Like Moozie and Flower, I can't quite believe it's Monday already either!
I'm hoping for a NSD too, although it will mean that I have to finish the bread I left in the office last week, which tastes like sandals, but never mind.
Have a good week!Overpay!0 -

Boo to Monday I say! Weekend passed so quickly. We spent £3 in Lidl yesterday and £1.50 in Iceland, plus £10 in the pub - so quite controlled!
Today is a NSD. Just actually paid some cash IN. That's good, for me.0 -
Hopefully a NSD for me!Proud to be dealing with our debts - We WANT to be debt free DEC 09
Grocery challenge: £230 / £230 left0 -
Only plans for today are a bit of food shopping for the week, and my first ever trip to Aldi, when I can find the energy to get dressed!
So planning on keeping it low, I'm almost annoyed that I have to spend some money after a run of 4 no spenders, grrrrrrr!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Wow CAFCgirl, 4 no spenders, I can only dream of such achievement!
I have had the lowest no spend in weekend history (apart from NY when I was ill in bed and spent nothing), I spent £8, and this was begrudgingly. OH went food shopping (I can't go with him, he spends too much, so I just give him what I would spend in a month and he puts the rest to it, an odd arrangement but it suits me and I don't have to step foot in a supermarket!) but dropped a bag in the kitchen breaking an (expensive) bottle of wine. We had family coming over in the evening and he was in a grump so I popped to the local shop where they happened to be selling 3 for 2 on a wine we like, I couldn't resist.....
Today is a no spender, found some weetabix in my drawer for brekkie (I haven't keeled over yet so I hope they haven't poisoned me), I have a sandwich for lunch and a colleague has brought some lovely biccies back from their hols. Sorted!
Have a good day everyone!Saving for an early retirement!0 -
Need to get a loaf today so I will take just enough money to work to cover it so that I don't go on a mad spending spree.
Another soup for lunch here as well today. Tut>DFW Nerd no 546
