KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a de!!!!!! gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 807d27e4, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: c5fb87d4, Trap Frame
Arg4: 00000000
Debugging Details:
OVERLAPPED_MODULE: Address regions for 'IDSvix86' and 'IDSvix86.sys' overlap
EXCEPTION_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at "0x%08lx" referenced memory at "0x%08lx". The memory could not be "%s".

Google'n various parts:
'KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e) ' returns:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903251
"This problem may occur if the computer is infected with a variant of the HaxDoor virus. " HOWEVER keep reading...
'OVERLAPPED_MODULE: Address regions for 'IDSvix86' and 'IDSvix86.sys' overlap' and 'PROCESS_NAME: ccsvchst.exe' points to:
Symantec, Norton 360.
It looks like nortons dying in the middle of a scan.
Various posts suggest uninstalling norton and installing MS's http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/0 -
backup and reinstall windows (from factory restore partition or disc) and avast 6 free instead of norton, or follow the speedup sticky thread.!!
> . !!!! ----> .0 -
blue screen occured before i put norton on though so probs isnt that and would like to keep it on for the scanning, i got windows put on again cos it disappeared , had blue screen before that and not long after as well so that didnt seem to solve the problem

My experience is with blue screens is they are hard to put right. Back up now like others have said. When I had blue screens on an old laptop I went to switch it on one day and it wouldn't boot up. end of pc. Back up now if you haven't already.0

If you need a pc for normal use you will find one a lot cheaper than that. Look around and look for the occassional bargain prices in places like PC World.0 -
