Mazuma Mobile

Hiya

I am looking at getting cash for my old iphone 3gs as I am getting iphone 4 tomorrow. I went onto Mazuma and they quoted me £80 for working, but when I go through the link on this site I get quoted £131. Same applies for fonebank I get quoted more through this site. Will they honour the price I go to checkout at or the price when I dont go through this site?

Also I dont have a printer so am I able to write the details onto a jiffy bag envelope and send special delivery that way?

Thanks!!

  • Hi, I am new to this site and am sorry if this isn't the correct place to post....

I have used Mazuma and found them to be reliable.

I also have a query, I am trying to sell my iphone4 and am looking for a site that i can sell it on or preferably swap it on. I have tried EBAY but it is full of scammers.

    Any help would be great.

CEX seem to buy, sell and exchange, but I cannot vouch for them and don't know how exchange works.

Exchange - I think you would get voucher from them and you can use it to buy their goods.
  • You choose cash or a voucher (for a higher amount). I always choose cash. Sending such a high value phone anywhere means special delivery; if it gets lost in the post you can kiss goodbye to anything over about £42 (even for that you need proof of posting).

Sell privately, you invariably ALWAYS get more - around £150 for a 3GS 16Gb in good condition. I recall seeing that these firms are often the first to sell them on eBay and get a greater return. Cut out the middleman, and the possibility of them reneging on the quote for spurious reasons.
