Just remember that with toiletries in particular sometimes the sizes are a wee bit smaller than the equivalent one in supermarkets. Case in point - head and shoulders.

This is usually true, but Poundworld have 500ml Palmolive shampoo, Poundland have the same but 300ml. They dont seem to sell it in Tesco or Asda but I think 500ml of branded shampoo is great value.

There was an article on TV about this a while ago. The Polo mints sold in pound shops are actually made overseas. So by buying these not only are you adding to the polution caused by transporting them here but you are also doing British people out of jobs.
Cheap to you but a high price for someone else!

think these are 30p for a single packet so 30p = 1 pack or £1 = 10 packs, i know what i would choose whether they come from the UK or not.

Unfortunately when you are on a strict budget you can't always afford to put your morals into practise :o

The 99p shops (and some pound shops) sell sandwiches, which work out cheaper if you really cba to make your own.

They also sell pretty much any fizzy bottle drink - though the selection seems to vary - at 2 for 99p.
