Some things are cheaper in the pound shop?

I buy most of my toiletries, cleaning products, diy bits, light bulbs and ods and ends for the kitchen from Poundland.

Foodwise I only really buy quavers, milk, mayonaise if they have the right one and sometimes something sweet (9 milky way crispy rolls for £1, who can resist?) but most of it doesn't really appeal.

Just remember that with toiletries in particular sometimes the sizes are a wee bit smaller than the equivalent one in supermarkets. Case in point - head and shoulders.

I know this isn't food, but today, I bought the QI H annual in Poundland. Amazon are selling it for £7.
