  • Hi! I did - we had terrible snow last year and I only had my wellies and socks - which were slippy on the ice, and my feet were frozen. The reviews persuaded me and I'm going to look after them so they last! Saw lots of boots offers earlier this year on here and passed on them but we are predicted snow in northumberland next month.
    I'm gonna do it!!!!!

I love Emu and have a few pairs, if you buy the stingers (which the ones in this post are) they are naturally water resistant - I still give them a light spray with a suede protector though. Mine have never let damp, water or snow through and they stay looking nice.

I bought my daughter a pair the end of last week with this offer, the indigo ones, I wouldn't have paid £100 plus for her with her feet still growing but as there was this code and I had amazon vouchers I treated her to a pair.

I have Uggs too but prefer Emus. I don't go a size down nor my daughter I buy my actual size and they have been fine for me.

Can you tell me what suede protector you use please? Does it make it more water resistant too?
  • Just ordered another pair of Emu Lo in Chestnut size 6 for youngest daughter xmas pressie. But as i'd already used the code on my original order of a size 7 pair of Emu Lo's in chestnut for eldest daughter, i had to use another account/e-mail address.

    Xmas solved for me!!

Just wanted to add to this: know the 25% doesn't apply to Amazon orders but have a look at Amazon as they have lower prices on some styles even after applying the 25% Javari code to the Javari site! The Alba for example are £175 (works out £131.75 after discount) on Javari yet £99 on Amazon.

Has anyone else any issues with trying to get Emu boots to fit? I had issues originally with the quality, sent them back no problems (though sad as I had an amazing deal!) but went into a real store to try on Emu Stringers and none would fit in any size: my heel kept slipping :( Had to admit defeat and go back to Ugg Australia boots (or saving for Uggs....) which for me is not so good as I wanted to wear Emu boots and had been saving for a long while, thought they looked more 'now' in terms of labels then Uggs.

Yeah, my heel slips in both Emu and Just Sheepskin. They don't in Uggs though.
Think it's because Uggs are more of a narrow boot than the others.
The heel slipping doesn't bother me though as I find them more comfortable to wear than Uggs. You just get used to not wearing a restrictive type of shoe/boot. :)
  • Just got them & they are fab! Great quality (better than UGGS) I would say the sizing is pretty normal Im a 6.5 & ordered a 6, they are slightly snug but I know they will get roomier once the sheepskin pads down. The sole appears much more substantial than UGGS. Happy happy happy!!! Shame its glorious sunshine!!
