Well last week went better than the week before and we managed ALL meals planned, but then again I did plan as the week went by instead of in one go! So lets see if I can do that well again this week with the meal plan prepped before the week starts :D

NB. I have Insulin Resistance and therefore eat a Low Gi/GL diet, so sometimes the boys eat different or altered meals (I don’t want people to think I cater for fussy eaters!)

Friday (No DS) – [STRIKE]LO Stroganoff[/STRIKE] Mum is feeding us :D
Saturday (No DS) – LO Apple and Pork Sausage Casserole (and Potato for DH)
Sunday (No DS) – Stuffed Portabello Mushrooms (Cheese, Onion and Bacon) with Lambs Lettuce
Monday – HM Lasagne and Salad (w/ Chips for the boys)
Tuesday – Messy Sandwiches (Bacon, Eggs, Beans and Mushrooms on HM Granary Rolls)
Wednesday – LO Lasagne, Salad
Thursday – Bacon and Salami Pizza on a HM Granary Base (w/ Chips for the boys)

All subject to change to cater for the pregnant woman’s whims :D
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

  • Can't wait to join in as I really need to get my groceries spend under control.

At the minute I'm sadly living on frozen meals (HM of course;)) while I recover from an op. (Very glad I did it though as "proper" cooking would've been a bit or an ordeal the past week or so).

I hope you don't mind me lurking for the next couple of weeks to get some ideas.....

Not doing so well at the moment - have two freezers full but they don't seem to be things I can make meals from! Possibly going to Costco this weekend to stock up on mince & chicken etc but not sure I'll have the energy to bulk cook as I was going to as Giblet is due next Saturday!

    This will be subject to change depending on what we buy & baby's arrival;
Saturday; [STRIKE]Chicken Fajita's[/STRIKE] We're going out to eat - last chance for many months!
    Sunday; [STRIKE]Paella[/STRIKE] Invited to Mom & Dad's :D
    Monday; [STRIKE]Cottage/Shepherds pie[/STRIKE] Paella
    Tuesday; [STRIKE]TBC[/STRIKE] Cottage/Shepherds pie
Wednesday; [STRIKE]TBC[/STRIKE] Southern Chicken with chips & frozen veg
Thursday; [STRIKE]TBC[/STRIKE] Possibly Lasagne or fish pie
    Friday; [STRIKE]TBC[/STRIKE] Fajita's

    C xx
