Interesting. My wife and I both have £5k in ISA's with them, we will be registering for this. As the existing interest rate is unaffected it appears to make sense, nothing to lose?

Every month the bank will award cash prizes of up to £100,000 to randomly selected savers. To qualify, customers must be aged over 18 and have at least £5,000 in savings with Halifax or Bank of Scotland, although this sum does not all have to be in the same account.

Well I can't see anything in the t&c's that say otherwise, but the registration form asks for a sort code and account number.
Myself, my wife and my daughter all have just over £5k each in a cash ISA with Halifax but no other type of account...all we seem to have been issued with is a roll number.
I'll give them a bell tomorrow and find out....

Yeah, it's fine. Called up and they gave me the account number and sort code over the phone.
Best of luck to everyone who registers!
