You really need to get your wife to test out the devices she's interested in.

She needs to go to a shop and try them out to see which one she prefers using, it's not necessarily all down to specs. Having said that, I've had a Galaxy S2 since launch and it's really good (previous phone was a HTC HD2). As for the user interface, I don't particularly miss Sense, TouchWiz is fairly good too but I use a 3rd party launcher anyway (Go Launcher, free from the market).Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0
