Orange retentions for galaxy s2
I am on orange and my 18 mnth contract is due up so and will mayb go for a galaxys2
what retention offer have people/receive or got from orange
I note that talkmobile through mobiles.co.uk are doing a good offer of £30 for 12 months plus £99 up front
the nearest orange come to that is £35 per month for 18 months
on another note what is talkmobile like with credit checks??
are they quite picky??
. ive got a few default on my credit file so was quite suprised that i managed to get a contract with orange through a third party shop in the first place

Hi Kingbill,i have three phones on contract with Orange which ends shortly,i have been in negotiations with them a number of times and have now given up and cancelled all three contracts.Tesco and O2 have both offered me far better deals on the S2,all be it with Tesco the phone will cost me £50 but over the contract the deal is far better,YOU are wasting your time with Orange on the S2 they cannot compete.0

Orange don't offer the same deals to everyone, it's completely dependent on your monthly spend in the previous 3 months. If you're only spending £15 a month for example, they won't be able to offer you nearly as much as someone who is spending £30 a month. For example when I upgraded I was spending about £33 a month and I got a HTC Sensation for free for £25 a month (800 mins, unlimited texts, 1GB internet).
It's always easier to barter when you can give them an example of what other operators offer and you'll also have more success if you go through to the disconnection/loyalty department as opposed to the upgrade department. I saw a good article on how to get the best upgrade deal the other day actually, but I can't post links because I'm a newbie!
Have a look on mobiles4everyone.co.uk or mobilife.com for the best deals on the market (they have feeds from all the networks and third party sites).0 -
