Needing a miracle or very good MSE to sort my dilemma

Currently have a virgin full package and we are soon to move into an apt. We cannot have virgin in our apt but want to take our current telephone number with us. BT advise if we change to them now at our old address, we can keep our phone number and when we do a change of address it can then come with us.
Our Daughter is going to move into our house but is locked into a naughty sky package at her current address that failed on its broadband. Therefore she only has TV and would like Broadband at our old address.
Please can anybody advise the most cost effective way to go about this? Can it work out cheap not having a bundle?
I was thinking of keeping her sky for the remainder of its contract but dont fancy the broadband hassell that many people have. Hers was 'Pay £150 to have your drivers checked on laptop as we feel this is why your Broadband wont work! If proved wrong Sky will reimburse you'
Many thanks in advance of help.:A

Three month into what I understand to be an 18 month contract. I will double check that as its possibly a 12. Thank you for looking over query.

Have her sky in your house and let her take your virgin, port your virgin number over when set up with bt. It's the only cost effective way I can think of
