Can I send a new mobile phone back, just cos I don't like it? *Update post 15*

You're right, policies are different: T Mobile's is vastly superior to Three's.
As for Three's policy regarding their coverage, do they honestly expect customers to find an equivalent phone to the one they're considering purchasing, just to test out a PAYG sim in?? Sounds crazy, especially if like me your old phone was locked and too much of an antique to compare the services you'd expect with the new phone.
But the other side of the coin is who in their right mind would sign up to
2 year contract that has a liability of £500+ with the new smartphones
without checking the network coverage in the areas they usually
use the phone

That's life, I am afraid. But you are in a minority as the Galaxy SII is avery good and popular phone that you could always sell. And it's only for 2 years. Easier and cheaper to get rid of than Mr Ryan if you decide you don't like him! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Well, well, well, wonders will never cease!!
Husband rang Three today and they are happy to take the phone back and let me choose a different handset.
We have 14 days in which to take the phone back to a Three shop, where they will just swap it for a new handset.
I am really surprised, and of course delighted! I really did think I was stuck with the phone.
I have the next two weeks off work, so will go into the Three shop and have a really good "play" with a few handsets, to see which one suits me best.

I'm glad you got it sorted OP!

Am seriously thinking about selling the S2 to buy the Blackberry that I wanted to start with... everyone in the phone shops I've been in trying to sort out this mess is incredulous that I hate it, they just keep saying 'It's a really good phone' it may well be but I just dont like it!!!!
Guys Dad - my username is just ironic - I'm not married
