Is it possible to set a daily or weekly call allowance limit on a contract phone? Has anyone on here ever tried to do this?

Credit limits are only designed to protect companies from people who don't pay their bills, and shouldn't be sold as a feature/benefit.
You cant rely on call limits as a way of controlling costs , limits can be exceeded due to delays in receiving call data.0 -
Networks rely on people overspending to help pay for the comissions they give retailers so limits are not in their interest, which is why 76% of the UK mobile market is Pay As You Go.
Retailers with cashback offers depend on people being lazy and not planning their cashback claims and keeping their paperwork to make their money as the 100% free rental cashback claims is virtually handing over all the comission.
If you can plan, are disciplined and don't waste, this is fine for most people, for others they just subsidise those who arn't lazy.0 -
Thanks for all replies - I'm happy with my monthly contract, unfortunately not everyone is so disciplined... :rotfl:0
