The staff should know if its being available for midnight release but ask the appropriate member of staff to be sure you dont get blank looks,
maybe invest in a keyboard with working caps lock0 -
No because the night staff do not have access to the high value stock lockup.
I have been to stores at midnight with the OH for several releases. He got one at ASDA where the staff were making regular trips to the stock room to pick up the right number of games required in each format at the time. I think that was a final fantasy game.
On another occasion we went to a 24h Tesco and although the game wasn't out on the shelves, a kind assistant offered to go and get it for him when we asked.
Sometimes the local Blockbuster will be open at midnight for a release as well, but I think that's just for the huge ones like CoD or GTA.
If I wanted it that badly and couldn't get a straight answer I'd probably just go along and seeCross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
Basically if you turn up to buy at 12.00 am you may or may not be able to buy it. The night staff have limitations and rely on the day staff to organise things like this. If you ask in advance preferably at the customer service desk I'm pretty certain they will make sure that the game is available for you to buy at midnight.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

Why on earth is this in the consumer rights section ?
It's your 'right!' to get your video game, book, DVD whatever on the day of release innit. And if Tesco haven't got them on the shelves yet, they're denying you your rights!
Not that I'm saying that's the OP's view, but the thread I remember from a while back was similar!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
