I was in T on Friday and saw some Microwaves down the 'clearance' aisle. There was two selves, one with SEL for £65 and the other for £55.
I picked one up from the shelf with the £55 Sel but when it went through the till for £65 so I went to CS.
I showed her where I took it from and there was others the same still on that shelf. She claimed 'someone must have moved them to the wrong shelf, I can give you the difference but not DTD', I stated that as both shelves where full it was unlikely to be the case someone had moved them and therefor should be given DTD.
She said she would have to phone manager which she tried but never got through so gave me DTD.
The moral of the story is stick to your guns, don't take excuses.

If you have problems with any employee of The Extremly Self Centered Organisation remind them of Mr T's core purpose.

anyone know where i can get one of those button camera things?:rotfl:
I can't post links yet but you can get several from SpyCatcherOnline .co.uk (look at Covert Cameras - Body Worn in the menu).
Although these are more 'professional level' gadgets; you can probably get them cheaper elsewhere.
The rest of the site is also worth a look, it's where James Bond would do all his online shopping!0 -
After reading posts for deals and then going to get them, I wondered why a lot of them were nowhere to be seen, and also if this policy was in place
" Tesco is planning a shake-up that will see ranges and price discounts tailored to the incomes of families who live near its stores. "

Christmas milk chocolate tree decorations reduced to 1 pence per bag
barcode 5051898959531 Best before end: May 2012 (might crush them & decorate cup cakes)
Also checked Jodi Picoult book-it's on special offer £2.99 so no DTD0 -
Not a great DTD but okay for gifts in D!dcot store
Terry Pratchett hardback "The Snuff" books labelled £7.49 and £2 off stickered price. Scanned through the till at £7.49 so £4 DTD back.
Almost all the rest of the books had the same red £2 off stickered price, they removed them all from the shelf after a big fight to get DTD, dopey compliance manager said that she didn't think it was misleading as they were separate stickers!0 -
The 2L mineral oil for older cars has a shelf price of £8.00 but scans at £8.97. Not much diff but....0
