  • Might seem a silly question as I'm sure stores can choose who they do business with but I'll ask anyway as I'm unsure.

Can claiming DTD too often be a reason for a store banning you? Just I don't want to end up barred from my local supermarket, however I look forward to screwing them for as much as I can get out of them. Kind of a role reversal of what they have been doing to me for the past 7 years. Lol.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Apologies in advance if my post upsets anyone like my previous post seemed to have done. I'm sure I'll get the hang of all the rules & regs and T's & C's eventually. Will just take a little while so please bear with me.

Took advantage of the dd on the 3 for 2 a while ago so noticed they had 3 for 2 again yesterday evening so took pot luck and didnt need dd as they discounted to £1.20 giving me a saving of £8.94 :j

Discount came up as 'Cadbury 3 > £1.20' which was a bit strange but it worked 3 times over. Nine dinner kits was enough for me :)

This was at lpool 0ld sw4n but may work elsewhere

Any extra info on these... what type of dinner kit are they (they have fajitas, burritos and lots of different types)... thanks in advance!

    Hi Folks,

Just got bk from my local mr T's (Evesham) and i brought 3 dairy box 400g should have been £3.00 but at the self serve was scanning in at £4.00.

got my £2 back for each box with DTD, don't know if this will work for people as its the first time ive experienced DTD but if my calculations are correct you could get these for £2.00 each which is BARGAIN!

    Hope this helps someone :o

  • Hi,

I'm new here, although I've been "lurking" for a while.

I was recommended here by another poster and a couple of weeks ago managed to get a Lindam Bed Side (to stop little ones falling out of bed) for 60p as opposed to the normal £24.95 - ideal for my grand-daughter.

I just wanted to let those local to me know that I was in the D*rham store (out of town) yesterday and had no luck at all. CDM was 2 for £2, Moondough Supermarket went through at £15.97 and there was not a box of Kokos or Mingles to be seen.

Hey ho. Another day another glitch. I hope!

    :D
  • I bought the 4 packs of Kronenbourg lager today (2 for £7) but they scanned at £4 each (£8) so £2 DTD back! This was in an Extra store x

It's unlikely a store will ban you, I have heard of it but I would think most banning occurs when things get agitated not because of the dtd. I would say stand your ground over dtd but stay cool and you should be ok. When they used to give you the full money back if they overcharged you, I have had refund of £249 on one item and never got banned.

Tesco Pembr*ke D*ck had shelves of mingles today, all going through at £1.01 and the woman on the self service checkout said "I hope theyve got some when I finish tonight, there were none yesterday!" So theyre well aware of the glitch!!
  • Yay I got 8 packs of the 1p Splenda's today, took all that was on the strip and hoping they will get more in! I use Splenda tabs all the time so this is very useful :). SEL read £1.00.
