Just got DTD on Tropicana orange juice smooth and with bits. Big signs up saying buy 2 get 2 free 1.5l. Smaller yellow sel saying 900ml or l litre. Got 4 and no offer came off. £2,18 each £8.72 refunded. Didn't have to ask for DTD. Lady was really nice. Look out for signs in store. sel had 06/12/2011 date on.0

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

Im sorry to be a bit thick, but do you have to buy online and contact HQ for DTD or is £10 the price in-store ??0 -
Cono Sur Pinot Noir was £2.19 in 'sneckie rp last night although no SEL. Had last 4 on shelf but may be more put out today.
For all of you lot "south of the border", think yourself lucky when you buy your wine and champagne as we (Scotland) have a new law out forbidding multibuy offers on alcohol, therefore no 5% discount on 6 bottles and we cannot even double up our clubcard vouchers for alcohol.
Thanks for that. I'm in sneck and I managed to double up my clubcard vouchers for finest wine - had it home delivered tho so I don't know if that makes a difference. I did wonder why I didn't get my 5% discount but I wasn't going to grumble as I got 12 bottles of finest red delivered for under £2!:beer:0 -

Hii Cydnie20 - The Celebration tins should be going through the tills at £10, but the price drop magazine (should be found in the enterance to your store or at the end of your checkouts) says they are half price at £5 and the offer is valid from 24th November to 4th December.
Buy the box of Celebrations, then take your reciept to customer services. Tell them you have been overcharged as the price mag says they are £5, but you got charged £10, and the offer is valid untill 4th December, so should be £5.
In theory, you should recieve £10 back and get to keep your chocolates. Eg, you were overcharged £5, which Tesco double as its their fault they over charged you and it's their policy, so you get £10 back, if CS (customer services) refuse DTD (double the difference) then call HO (head office)
Hope this helps, i've tried to explain as clearly as i couldxx

Even better than keeping your chocs and getting a refund is the fact that you get an additional £5 JTD as Asda are cheaper :T:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Thanks JJ! Knew i had forgotton something :rotfl:x0 -
Went to my local tescos for some Celebrations - they didn't have any but plenty of Heroes so bought 1 - paid £10 then went to CS and told them that the price drop magazine stated they were half price and priced at £5. CS said that the offer has finished, so when I said that it said on the front that it was valid from 24th Nov - 4th Dec, she said that some offers will finish earlier and this was 1. Informed me that I could return the item or keep it, so had my £10 back. However reading the back of the magazine now it says that offers are valid from 24th Nov - 4th Dec unless otherwise stated, and its not stated so may try again tomorrow.0
